MEETING SPACE


Whatever the occasion, Wilfrid Laurier University will accommodate 
your desire for the perfect seating arrangements. Most meeting rooms 
are connected with the dining hall, and groups do not have to go
outside. Some rooms have fixed seating, while others have tables and 
chairs that can be set up in classroom style, or U or T shaped 
arrangements. Audio-visual equipment is available in all meeting rooms. 

Amphitheatre seating - 1E1, N1001, N1002 and P1025/27 hold 280, 280, 
150 and 265 people respectively. These air-conditioned facilities are 
excellent for larger group meetings.
Library Board Room - Excellent for smaller groups up to 20 people.
Breakout classrooms - A selection of convenient breakout classrooms are
available in a variety of sizes.

Theatre Auditorium - This air-conditioned all-purpose facility
seats 750 people and has a built-in sound system and lights. The stage 
provides the opportunity for your speakers to address a large group.

Maureen Forrester Recital Hall - This venue is a new addition to the 
Faculty of Music. Its amphitheatre-style facility with impressive 
lounge for receptions holds 315 people.

Athletic Complex - Seating for 2,500 on bleachers and chairs on the floor. 
A sound system can be set up to accommodate larger groups.

Paul Martin Centre - Recently renovated air-conditioned facility for
banquets and meetings that seats 150 people.

Solarium - This air-conditioned room is close to the dining hall and 1E1. 
It is also excellent for receptions, displays and meetings.

University Stadium  -  5,000+ capacity outdoor venue with artificial turf

Turret - This facility is excellent for parties and get togethers. It
accommodates 600 people and includes a stage, bar and D.J. booth.

Wilf's - Wilf's is a casual pub for evening entertainment or private 
parties. It accommodates 280 people.
